Best Golf Podcasts?

i Listen to a lot of NFL podcasts, but have never considered golf ones.

Any good ones i should look out for? if so, what do they discuss?

Not exactly a podcast as such, but I really enjoy Rick Shiels' and Peter Finch's Monday Night Golf Show on Youtube. They cover the past weeks events, equipment news, breakdown a Pro's swing, and then do Q+A. Really good watch.

There's a ByTheMinGolf podcast which is pretty good which has John Huggan on. I also listen to The State Of The Game which has Geoff Shackleford as well.

The best podcast for golf is Golf Weekly, which if you have any interest in irish golf is fantastic as it is hosted on an Irish radio station but the 3 guys are very knowledgable on all golf

That one is very good. Another 2 which you'll get on TuneinRadio are
"A good talk spoiled" and "the Grill Room"

What could be on a golf podcast though ?

Talk about the weekly tournaments, any other stories that have broken, like in the build up tonthe Ryder Cup they had a talk with Des Smyth about proceedings and it was very insightful, kinda stuff like that happens every week really!

Yep. I'll second this. I listen to a few podcasts through other interests and the difference between media pros and even quite decent ams is marked. Lee, boxall and hawksworth pitch it just right.

I used to listen to an american based pod called "golf smarter". Had some interesting guests and topics but the guy who presents it became unbearable after a while (for me anyway, but I guess his mother loves him)

Will check out the irish one.

Sneaky off topic lurch - guardian football weekly and frank skinner on absolute are the top two for me...

I'll second that. State of the game can get a bit old men rambling on at times (Clayton seems to day the same thing over and over) , but when they get great guests it's very good. Bythemin golf is always worth a listen as Huggy and Laurence Donnegan are great value.
