Best golf day so far !

Hello all, first time posting on this forum but have been keeping an eye on posts for a while. Thought I would share my great day yesterday. Played 36 holes at Sherfield Oaks both courses were in great nick and I shot a personal best 95, breaking 100 for the first time, in the morning which could have easily been 4 or 5 better. Scratched around a little bit in the afternoon on the tougher Waterloo course before the 140yd 14th hole where I stuck an 8 iron straight in the hole!

Broke 100 and my first ever hole-in-one both on the same day. Carlsberg don't do golf days ......

You are aware the ball is supposed to go in the hole, not the club, aren't you

Welcome into the light after all that lurking in the shadows. Well doen for breaking 100 but don't expect it will suddenly become an easy game. The golfing gods will have noted your good score and especially that hole in one and will be plotting their revenge as we type

Plotting? The succession of hooks, slices, tops and 3 putts that made up the rest of the round suggest that they moved swiftly into action!! My desire to share my achievemnts was always based on my utter crapness!
