Took up golf a year ago and thought I'd never break 100. Finally done it and feels like a weight has been lifted right off my shoulders.

Not played for 2 weeks due to being at sea with work. Had nothing to do this afternoon so came for a round not expecting much and still a little downhearted after my previous round. Just tallied up my score and got a 98 despite scoring a 9 and 7 on the last two holes.

Im so happy and feel I've learnt a lot about my game just from today

Nice one fella. I remember chasing that one down. I find its harder to i itially break 100 than any other milestone. Once you have though you know its in you and kick on.

Good luck

LOL your lucky to walk off there alive so that's a feat in its self. I'm still shocked that no one has died from a golf ball to the head on there. Holes crossing each other and lil s***s who think they need drivers on 90 yard holes. Good to practice the short game though.

Yeah to be fair courses are dangerous places. Did you hear about the lad who nearly drowned at the Belfry the other day? Isn't he a member on here too? I think his names Kingsmill or something like that.
