best F1 GP yet

The F1 has just finished and I'll say it was the best race I've seen in years.

Loads of overtaking and tactical battles. Hamilton drove a perfect race but Webber was absolutely awesome. I hope this is the start of F1 getting back to where it was 15 years ao when everyone I knew loved it and it was a sunday must.

Also, I might me a golf nut but I think I've got an F1 addict in the house. My missus is addicted to everything F1 this year. she is fascinated by everything that goes into racing these cars, the technical calculations, tyres choices, fuel calculations and performance, I mean everything.

Brilliant Race, It had everything you could ask for in the race, Good drive from Lewis, And What a Drive from Webber start 18th finish 3rd, Brilliant!!!!

Really really good but I am still not a fan of KERS and the DRS... Just the tires alone would make good racing, the other two seem too artificial and passes occur when they are not "deserved"

F1 died when Senna did unfortunately. No one since his death has requested all the electronic shite be removed from the cars and let it be man and car racing without aids.

Still a procession if you ask me.

Agreed, it was a good race but not a fan of DRS. The Button incident was a bit strange really. I always thought the guys with the lolly pop always directed the car into the correct pit area but none of teams seemed to be doing this today.

Big mistake by button they have the same garage every race and i know he changed his uniform but his mechanics were still in silver and redbull in blue. Dont really understand the drs as you can only use it on certain areas. no problem with the kers system though. was a good grand prix and with the new tyres in place looks like it could make the tactics and racing interesting until the last few laps with out someone going out and being 30 secs clear

Finally someone with the same view as me! The one thing with f1 is the fact that a race can be one by a driver with good pit tactics or one who changes to wets or drys at the right time in a race when track conditions change. It's the only race that can be won by a slower driver.

On track speed alone it would have been out of webber and Hamilton yesterday and that's how racing should be! No f duct, kers, etc etc.

One set of tyres for the race with pits only for repairs or swap to wet tyres in the event of rain , or dry tyres if the rain is started in wet conditions

I'm with most of you on the KERS and DRS nonsense but tyres are ace. Take out pitstops and it will become a procession based on qualification.

All that said if Button & Hamilton hadn't beaten Vettel off the start it would have been a different race AND without KERS and DRS Webber would never have got to 3rd from 18th!
