Best club in the world!

I just bought a Ping G15 hybrid 20 degrees.

And I'm amazed at how good this club is!

I started golf 6 weeks ago, so naturally my long irons aren't always consistent. So I tried this club and the accuracy and distance are incredible.

The majority of shots went dead straight and bounced on the 200 yard marker.

I chose the regular shaft as I'm new to golf but I'm sure the stiff shaft would go a fair bit further.

Shaft flex, I think, has more to do with speed and tempo of your swing. So automatically thinking stiff shafts will go further isn't quite correct.

How can you hit straight 200 yard shots after only playing for a few weeks? I'm still trying after 3 years to do that.

Aha - driving range disease ... all clubs, especially new ones, work brialliantly at teh range. Different ball game out on teh course though

Try one when you can and I bet it works for you too mate.

Recently dipped a toe in the Ping pool too with the purchase of an I15 hybrid with stiff shaft. By far the best of the many I tried out and I've been very happy with it on the course (apart from opening hole at Captains Day yesterday)

I couldn't hit a 3 iron very well so got one of these and it's been brilliant so far. I tried out the 17 degree one but found that much harder to hit consistently so went for a 5 wood instead. Good luck with it though
