We've got a thread at the moment for the worst golf ball ever (Taylor Made Burner for me all things considered).

What are your favourite budget golf balls though?

I'll get things rolling and say Dunlop Loco!
My first box of golf balls ever and surprisingly softer than I imagined them to be.

Top Flite Z Balata.

End the thread. there is no debate :)

Depends on if you class budget purely on price or the range the balls fall into. But if it's price then the 'blemished' Wilson FG Tours are hard to beat for value. Mostly because they were cheap as chips and for the life of me I could never see any of the so called blemishes on them.

Hacker - are they from AG?
I've never heard of or seen them.

I'd class budget as under £20 for a dozen.

As I've recently (last 5 years) started golf, I think I've tried a lot of these and since I went to ProV1 (something I said I'd never do), I can't believe how bad some of these balls feel and I've become a ball snob!

Srixon Soft Feel are the only budget ball I'd buy now, because as much as I didn't mind the Dunlop Loco's, I'm ashamed to admit that I'd be too ashamed to use them now after my ProV1 and other top of the range balls I've used.

I got some from AG once, they only cost £10 for a dozen and agree i saw no issue with them at all. Personally i hated them as they were really clicky but for a performance ball it was great value

AD333 at £12 a dozen.

Cracking ball at the price and for me 1 ball can last 10 rounds easily.

These are knocking them out at £15 http://www.onlinegolf.co.uk/accesso...f-fg-tour-blemished-12-golf-balls-253276.html

I agree they may not be for everyone but 15 quid for as 'premium' ball is good value as the blemishes were invisible to me. Also Golf Depot are still doing the Hex Chrome Plus for 15 quid which I would also class as a bargain.

Yes Lincoln. I didn't mention those as wasn't sure if they were over £20.
Very nice cheaper ball. £12 a dozen though - where is that?
You can tell how long ago I last bought balls, It was from direct golf at the time.
