Been custom fitted for clubs but never balls.

My swing speed with a 16.5 degree wood is 82 m.p.h which is probably too slow for PROv1 and I was looking at NXT or something similar..


Has anyone any thoughts of what woyld be best please?

Horses for courses really. There are so many variables involved here that it's impossible to say what's best for you, takign into account your ....

swingspeed, forged vs cast clubs, spin rate, home course conditions, tendency to slice/draw/hit straight, brand preference etc etc.

If you don't want to shell out on premim balls like pro vs and Zstars, then I think you are right to look at Titleist NXT Tours (and the new veolcity range), DX3s, Bridgestones, Srixon softfeels. But the list just goes on... they are all decent balls, despite what soem peopel will say about hating some...

You wil know whats right for you by a combo of performance, distance and feel. Some people love Callaway balls, while others swear they are the work of the devil. ideally try a few and see what you like.
