I played really well at the weekend, and had easily my best ever 'hole stretch'

I went

9th - Eagle - 3
10th - Par - 3
11th - Birdie - 4
12th Eagle - 3

wondered what yours is?

i still managed 3 doubles though in shooting +1 but the adrenaline was pumping after this!

That's impressive.

I had 5 birdies in a row from our 8th.

only i can think of is a round off the black tee's at Castle Stuart a couple of years ago.

6th Par 5 birdie
7th SI 1 460 yard par 4 eagle
8th par 3 218 yards par
9th par 4 364 yards eagle

Luck was on my side that day, should have bought a lottery ticket on the way home

2 eagles in 4 holes and both were on par 4s. That is impressive.

The best course I know for a 4 hole stretch record is the 1st-4th holes at Devils Dyke near Brighton as three of the first 4 are reachable par 5's and the 3rd is a relatively easy par 4.

From memory, I think I have been -4 on more than one occasion in the years I played there..

However, in a Pro-Am about 8 years ago, there was a famous occasion when a very good lady member, (HC about 4 I think) went as follows for the first five holes: birdie, eagle, birdie, birdie then Hole In One!!!! 7 under after 5! :) There was a car as a prize for the HIO too but she didn't take it as she didn't want to waive her amateur status for a year.

My friend was in her team that day and yes, they won the event...

For me it was:

Par
Birdie
Birdie
Par

Which I was fairly happy with :)

I had four birdies in a row once, all on par 4s and the next hole was a par 3 so I had a good run of five consecutive 3s on the card.

Stood on the 8th tee (through the notionally "harder" part of the course) 4 under par and promptly imploded, finished about 6 over I think! :o

In the late 90's I started a Medal with 4 birdies, got cocky and promptly recorded 4 doubles on the next 4 holes.........sigh.

On Sunday I had;

Birdie
Par
Birdie
Birdie

I then went triple/bogey/bogey, all from really good positions
