I bought a Benross V5 driver about 10 months ago and been very pleased with it up to now. Unfortunatley I noticed what looks like a 2 inch split running along the top face of the club, running parallel to the club face, and about 3 mm from it. I cant tell if this is just the paint that has split or the metal - it sounds diferent now, but still goes about the same distance?! anyone seen this before?

If it needs replacing I like the Benross but hesitant to buy another after this, whats the word on Benross reliability?

Thanks.

My step son has gone through a cheap no fear driver and a dunlop one by cracking them within a year, he now uses a Hippo Hex and has not had a problem, maybe its something in your swing?

I am not sure about Benross, I would take it back to wear you bought it.

I have been using a Benross V6 driver for about 8 months now and have not had a problem with it , however it is worth going somewhere and trying lots of diffrent ones first, as you may find another make suits you better.

I have had a few bits of Benross kit and have been pleased with all of it and surprised at the overall quality. So much so that I am going to have a go with the Innovator and Veloct drivers at the weekend as my pro shop has just started to stock this gear. Not had to try out their customer service yet though so would be intrigued to see how you get on.

Have had some Benross kit, generally always good. If you ever pick up a golf magazine for 'todays' golfer ;) then you will see they always test and rate Benross. Especially their Irons and Drivers.
