Last week was out in the US and played a few rounds. Naturally, took a few pics during the rounds. Two pictures stood out. These were taken with my Blackberry (yes, I am not a kool kid) with no special settings. It is interesting to see how much the shaft bends during the downswing.
1) The 3-wood is a Taylormade Burner 2.0 with a off the shelf Regular shaft. The result was a good flight and distance (approx 200-220y) and a nice shape
2) The Driver is a Nike 11.5 degree Covert driver set to neutral and with an off the shelf Stiff shaft. The result was a good flight and nearly out drove the 240y green. Towards the last 50y, the ball started to fade, so bounced on the right side of the green and went down the hill.
I must say, i dont have a full backswing. Years of cricket and a late introduction to golf means, I have more of a back lift that goes about 90 degrees and then I power thru from there.
Enjoy the two pics..
