has anyone got/tried one of these? i'm looking for a 20 deg hybrid to possibly replace my 3 iron but don't want to spend a fortune! this seems to be a 2008 model (latest technology?) and has a really good shaft fitted (ALDILA). any comments welcome.

I got one but rarely use it, the shaft is decent but I found controlling the flight and shape of shots difficult with it and have just kept using my 3 iron which I find easier to shape and play different shots with, also the Ben Sayers rescue club tends to want to draw sometimes near hook everything, which I don't do with my other clubs.

thanks for the info. i'm deciding between 3 - benross V5, MD Equaliser and this one. i take it from your comments you wouldn't recommend it? benross and MD have loads of positive reviews but nothing on this one. i thought that might be because its new?

It's a decent club...for sure...but on close inspection, you can tell it's not as high quality as some other. The shaft (if it's Aldila) will be ok, probably as good as anything els.

Why not look at the For Sale and Wanted section.....there are a few for sale there.....I've had two PMs about mine, so these will get first refusal, but who knows??

I would go for the MD I use 2 MD superstrong wedges and I've used one of their drivers in the past always been impressed with all the components.

I have hit one of these and to be honest it was well worth £35 in my eyes. If I hadnt been able to afford the bafflers this would have been in my bag like a shot.

Goes to show that good quality gear is available for not a lot of cash. Companies who don't fork out huge amounts of cash on sponsorship of pros can mark-up cheaper so expensive isn't always best.
