Belly Putter, would you?

After my usual Sat morning game heading to the car when i spot a mate on the Practice Putting green with a Belly Putter!!!

I decided to head over and take the p*ss out of him! Anyway he says been having trouble with the short stick and borrowed this one to try, I think its the same type as Kegan Bradleys.

He says have a go

Long storey short, I sank everything and i mean everything, 5 footers, 10 footers and even 20 footers!!

Now i'm not in fav of the things, but having a think about this now.

they are good imo, i bellied my spare putter but i went back to my normal one as i was struggling a bit inside 10ft.

however my lag putting improved greatly

only used one for a few shots on the practice green hit it pretty well but nothing worth changing from the traditional putter but i have been putty terribly recently and have been considering it. interested to see other peoples opinions

I agree with you 100%.It is the anchoring the club to the body I find completely wrong,even it is not illegal, it makes this club completely at odds with all the other clubs in our bags.
Unfortunately,I think the authorities have let its use continue for so long now that I do not expect any ban.
One good thing though ,if they are so good why are they still the exception?

I agree they should be banned as they just don't seem in the right spirit but if the powers that be don't find the cojones to ban them soon then I'll certainly be looking to try one.
