Has anyone been there and been custom fitted?

I have an appointment on Monday and was wondering what i should be expecting.

Hopefully getting a new driver and the prices are actually cheaper than my local pro shop :)

I would LOVE to go with a wad of money. From what I know your should expect great service and facilities.

Have a great time and let us know about it.

had a walk around the place earlier looking for the shop, then got told i needed to goto the national fitting centre, lol. Place is massive and looks pretty impressive.

had to pay my £50 and will get this back off the price of the club i want. :)

oakley when you booked how quick did you get an appointment, also are they ok for you not to buy straight away, as I know my daughter changes her mind pretty much after ive bouught something, so I always leave it a day before buying, but shes always wanted to go for a club fitting to check her kit

Hi,

I went 2 years ago and ended up with Pings, (which I then replaced with Cobras when I won a GM comp). the service was great, they took the time to go through your swing speed, shot type, etc with your own clubs and go through a bunch of alternatives, no pushing a particular brand. It cost me £50 which is taken off the price of the clubs if you buy through them.

Take the time to go to Sams bar and Grill and have the mixed platter for two - top nosh as well.

I go there for lessons (with Chris Ryan and/or Derek Simpson)& have had all my clubs CF'd there.

For the driver I saw a guy named James, who took time to find out my preferences and thoughts on current driving.

I then hit a load of balls so that he could get a reference point from which to start (spin, swing etc).

He then brought 6 or 7 drivers which he thought would suit me (all different makes, models & prices).

I kept trying them until I'd decided on which was best.

I highly recommend them.
