The Ping room is done but the others are still under refurb... I had a lesson in the Callaway room on Sunday and it had just been painted. They are looking great though so it will be worth the wait :thup:
They are still doing fittings though out of the Ping room, not sure on the rules of trying different manufactures but I could ask Wednesday for you if you want?

I was there on Saturday, I understand Ping are done, TM are nearly there, and Callaway are close, but Titleist have barely started. They will apparently have a Nike cart in the teaching room as well.
I was told that the fittings will be by brand, so you'll have to choose brand and have an in depth fitting with them. The Pro's didn't seem to think it the best way of doing it.
The teaching room looks a bit of a dump at present.

I'm a little concerned about choosing the brand , quite annoying really cos I really want to try titliest vs ping
I will ask tomorrow for you and see if they can sort it before the change is in full force :thup:

What a shame that you can't mix and match brands on the day to see which is best.
Right I asked about this for you today Dot... I said you wanted to try both Ping and Titleist drivers and this is how it will work...
You will have to tell them what you want to try and they will book you a fitting in both rooms which would cost £50 each... You would then pick which driver you wanted and the cost for both fittings will be taken off the final price so the fitting is totally free. It seems madness to have to book two fittings but as the guy said these company's have spent a hell of a lot of money on there fitting rooms and it would seem silly to then let other company's use them and not sell there own clubs out of them.
The TM and Ping room are complete and the Titelist room should be finished towards next weekend.
The rooms are superb and you should have a great time getting fit there :thup:

So if you only wanted to get the Ping after paying £50 each for the Ping and Titleist Rooms you would still have to pay the £50 for the Titliest room ??

The room better have more than just a few clubs in it - free bar at that price !
No you could have a fitting in 4 rooms which would cost you £200, if you then decided on a £250 Ping driver you would have £50 left to pay...

So why are you having to pay for all the rooms then ?
That seems very strange - why not just turn up - get fitted and pay what ever is needed for the driver. Only pay if you dont take a driver or clubs etc.
Unlike some fitting centres no they do not... As long as you purchase something you pay £0
I remember Homer being fitted by the greatest fitting centre on the planet in his eyes and he bought a complete bag of Ping G25 clubs and still payed around £80 or was it £120 for the fitting... They pulled his pants down that day I tell ya.

But it doesn't cost you £50 as long as you buy something, these fitting rooms are top of the range and they can't really be filling them up with someone who wants to go and have a knock with the new gear even though they have no intention of buying anything...
