Been in Belfast all day and have got the order for a new project there. I've promised a couple of the decision makers a round of golf near Belfast to celebrate the success of the project when it launches so need some help on choosing a venue?

When ever I fly in. I always think Royal Belfast looks decent. A good choice? Or Malone?

To the guys in this neck of the woods, what do you think?

Belvoir or Malone would be my two picks. There are a few nice holes at Royal Belfast but I wouldn't say it is as nice as the others mentioned. Jim the head greenkeeper at RBGC was a long friend of my dad and he takes delight in having his greens faster than Augusta so it can be 'fun', but again I prefer the layouts and challenges of the two parkland courses over this particular club.

The only things that might disappoint you at concra is the road up to the clubhouse and possibly the bar maids.

Another vote for the set up at Malone, club and course are superb. Play it regularly when over visiting the in-laws.

He has played rcd AFAIK a few times.

I count an hours drive for a game as 'in the area'.

Concra was just a course he may not know about. Pretty sure he will have heard of the others.

Plus there should be less people from Belfast there ;)
