We've settled on Belek for our holiday destination, 28th April just for 4 nights. I am allowed to play golf one, maybe twice If I play my cards right!

I don't want to spend to much on a green fee so not expecting to play a top course so has anyone got any recommendations? Anyone know of a local society? Anyone out there (long shot!), Anyone got a mate who lives out there who's a member who can sign me in?

This might just be your lucky day. 12 of us are going to Belek for 7 nights from 24th April. It is highly likely that one of the 12 will not be able to play golf. That will mean that you should be able to join us for a free round on the Tat (ignore the name, it's a fine course) on the 30th. I'll PM you when I get confirmation. At which hotel are you staying?

PS You might not be so lucky - we are a bunch of wrinklies.

That would be an incredible slice of luck!! We're looking to stay at the Turkey Antalya Susesi De Lux right in the heart of Belek I believe.

Please let me know when you know more!

Thank you, Ash.

I'm just back from Belek at the weekend and the Tat was one of the courses we played. It is made up of three nines, the River and Forrest which we played, and the Mediterranean. The course was great, although the greens had been micro tined and there was evidence of over-seeding on the fairways, by the time you get there the course should be excellent. One word of advice though, is the Skycaddy yardages aren't that accurate, especially on the first and second holes of the River. If you have a laser, use it.
Whichever courses you play, you will have a great time.

Played the TAT for the first time this year. Apart from the Sultan It is definitely my favourite.

Just a quickie to say you're in - stayed with the twelfth man last night and he's definitely not taking his clubs with him to Turkey. We are staying at the Cornelia de Luxe and I'll PM you with the details of tee times etc.. Anyone else looking for a free game in Belek between 25th and 28th April, let me know.

Great news thank you very much! Speak to you soon.

Good to hear! Got a cracking deal. £686 for 4 night All inclusive, public price is just over £1k! Great to be in the holiday trade :)

If you have connections with the travel industry, you probably don't need me to tell you that Turkey has changed its entry requirements. Instead of having to part with a nice crisp £10 note on arrival, you now have to apply online for a 180-day e-visa and, surprise surprise, that now costs $20, or around £12.50.

For anyone else that needs to apply for one, here is the link to the official site:
