We are heading back for our 3rd Belek holiday in two weeks time - cant wait.

Anyone been out recently and can comment on the course conditions this year ?

We are playing the Monty, PGA Sultan, Carya, Pasha and Glora Oldi

Now to start saving for next year, as if we are returning it will be during school holidays = mental prices

Cheers

Hi, having your 3rd visit I guess you like the place. Trying to convince ourselves to book a golf holiday to Turkey, but a couple of things are deterring us. Size of resorts, prefer smaller resorts, so do they feel that big, is it a bit like a production line ? Secondly, what's the on course experience like ? Are the courses rammed with herberts (non etiquette meat heads....) or is it a really nice golfing experience ? Just interested.

Yep, was out there in March. Had 2 games on the Pasha and 2 on the PGA Sultan. The sultan was fabulous and would definitely be on my must play list for the next time I golf in Belek.

We're looking at going out in September for father in law's 60th. The problem we're finding is that all the courses are based around Belek, but the all inclusive family resorts (we'd be taking wives and girlfriends/younguns) are further East and a couple hours drive away.

For those that have been, are there many all inclusive hotels in the immediate Belek area. Particularly the ones with onsite water park type things, so there's lots to do without venturing far or spending much for the non golfers?

We stayed in the hotel Sirene, all inclusive backing on to the beach, 3 pools, kids clubs, gym, spa etc. The 2 courses we played were a free 3 minute transfer by minibus.

Just come back from Belek from a non golfing holiday:

In answer, 100's. Look on google maps. The shore is lined with 100's of hotels. Even the furthest golf course from the hotel we stayed in was only a 15 min drive away.

Where we stayed had 4 pools, 5/6 slides, private beech with all sports included, kid clubs, 9 bars, disco, 3 al carte restaurants, nightly entertainment and was only 25/30 mins from the airport.

Your not looking properly if you say all the hotels you've seen are 2 hrs away.

If you're stuck try your local independent travel agent and they'll help you out and get you good deal.

I may be wrong but I was under the impression all the hotels in Belek near the golf courses were like this?

We are returning to The Voyage Hotel for our 3rd visit, and barring a disaster I intend to book 2015 as soon as we come home. I can only comment persoenally on this hotel complex, but have heard great reports of the others ( there are plenty of previous Belek threads on here)
We have holidayed here as a family as there is something for everyone...even Mrs Crawfy !!

4 x swimming pools
A water park
8 x a la carte resturaunts (plus a massive buffet)
Kids club duringthe day, disco at night etc

The measuring stick for me is that in two weeks I am getting 5 games of golf with no grief from the Mrs, as she will prob read 5 books and the little un' will be making a million new best friends as kids do

The course conditions are impecable, groomed fairways and manicured greens. I tee off early (to avoid the heat and the holiday makers who tend to drive buggys) My guest services book all my tee off times and we just pay on the day

Back at poolside for Noon, a pint and lunch then an afternoon on the waterslides with my 5 year old daughter

As I say...something for everyone

If anyone has other questions feel free to PM

If you have Sky Sports 4, the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open from the National Club, Belek is currently on. The course is looking great despite the fact that it is raining!

Went for a week in February. All the courses we played (Faldo's, Monty, TAT and Carya) were all in fantastic condition. Pretty sure the Sultan and Pasha will be mint aswell. All of the hotels in that area will be all inclusive and full of everything you could need. Corneila Diamond is where we stay and I honestly couldn't fault it. Already looking forward to next year.
