Good luck and play well. I'm due to play 36 but will only do 18 if I chop it round and then go out as a marker in the afternoon. The weather is set fair and so no excuses on that front.

I was up at 6.30, had to be to get my body going. What an up and down round I had, lots of laughs though during it, mornings are no good for me .
I had 8 pars today 6 of them so close to being birdies it was unbelievable

But the bad golf today, the down part, was a laugh...I had 5 uncharactoristic doubles today and an 8 on a par three.
I have plonked in the water on my favorite par three in friendlies but today was the first time I have done it in a comp, I could feel my feet numbness and my hands and arms tingling as I got on the tee, I should have waited
, but no, plonked two in the water from the tee, what a plonker! 
It was very windy but that was no excuse for the absolute collapse on some holes losing 15 strokes on 6 holes!
I have not lost so many in so few for a long time, but it made me laugh.
The 8 pars included 6 of the toughest holes on SI.
I double bogey'd a par three that I have never doubled before, took 8 on a par 3 I normally par and often birdie and two of thepar 4 holes I doubled today I have never doubled before

What made me laugh was one hole I would hit sweetly and precisely and make a great score, the next I was like a gorrilla with a gate post for a club.
Example of this was a par 5 (often a banker for me) Duffed the first shot, hooked the next, duffed the next pulled the next, dropped the next 2' from pin but it rolled past down hill 10 12feet, then lipped out on first putt...
Still I may get an extra shot so at least Im not empty handed

At least it was eventful. I started birdie (chip in) birdie and then threw a 9 in to balance it up.

Up at 04.00. Medal at 10.12. Played ok, but blew it on the last 4 holes. Net 74, bogey, bogey, double, bogey finish. hello 12 h/cap again. Damn.
