Became a member yesterday

After playing as a visitor for a while I joined Mae Jo yesterday, mainly after curing my slice on my driver (well, for now anyway). Kinda feels different now being a member. Did you feel different after joining a club?

It gives you more freedom to golf and an excuse to get out and get your money's worth.

A lot of benefits to becoming a member. Get involved and enjoy your new golf club.

good for you there are sone definate advantages to membership and it is different being able to play virtually, anytime and how much you want.

enjoy your club membership,yes like forum members have said you can play more and I felt more commited once I joined.

Have you PLAYED as a member there yet? If not, prepare your self for a duffed drive off the first tee..... it's obligatory.

Congratulations. Yeah I feel a sense of pride playing at my club now knowing I am a member and not just out for a hack about like some people.

How does being a member mean you're not just out for a hack?

Massive benefits to being a member IMO, competitive golf, access to the course whenever = lots more golf, sense of community with other members.

Being a member doesn't mean I can't hack round with the best of 'em though.
