Some idiot took a quad bike to two of beau deserts greens and done a shed load of donuts!!! The damage is bad

They were damaged last night but idiots on a quad bike

Cheers phil. Couldn't get the photos on my thread. Turned up to play today and the members are fuming. they're missing these holes out and replaying 1 and 2 ( if possible)

Very sad. Wouldn't it be great to catch them in the act
 
I've been a member at 2 clubs where this has happened in the past, it really is heartbreaking for the members. Hopefully they can get the greens topdressed and they will recover quickly.

Just seen these all over facebook....They reckon it could be a car....they are quite wide tracks too. Ive seen a comment saying 4inchs deep of damage! Will need the summer to 100% repair!

There is still a little bit of warmth in the ground so hopefully it will recover with dressing rather than having to relay turf. Either way, the members must be feeling sick :(
 
It's car damage as too wide for a quad bike.

Grass is still growing so hopefully if this good spell continues there will be some regrowth before the winter. Know the members wont be happy but would be best to not play on them till spring now

Definitely a quad. i personally saw the tracks leave the 11th green and over the course boundary onto the chase. Impossible for a car to get over

When I said car meant to say Hi -Lux, those tracks are way too wide for Quad ( maybe be Moon buggy type ), hi -lux has very high ground clearance which is why they are favoured by farmers and other ground based industries.

The donuts left on the greens are the same as the ones we'd do on a slack day at harvest time in a stubble field ;)
 
Oh no! They are some seriously good greens there too!

They are hosting the Logan trophy in 2017.........put it in your (middle aged) diaries ;)
