Beat handicap but, damn, it wasn't a qualifier

Its looked like its been coming for a few weeks. Trust me to pick a day when it wasn't a Q. Out in 33, 2 under, and back in 38, 1 over, for a gross 71...:whoo:

Maybe the reason for the very average scores this year is I've only play 19 times, courtesy of work. Last year, at this point, I'd played 52 times. The 'killer' short game I've had for donkey's years just isn't there most of the time. Bizarrely, GIR is well up.

No cut but at least I came away with a prize.:thup:

Nice one.Keep it going .I"ve managed to beat my handicap the last 8 rounds , with two of them being in comps.Also managed to bag 10 birdies in my last 3 rounds on the back 9 and a couple on the front nine.Hope to kept it going for another couple of weeks when I play my mixed fearsome final.
