It's been playing in my head everytime I hear about the Open, I grew up with that music heralding the start of magical golf on the box, so................
I want a good quality copy for a ringtone but I have no idea how to get it or do it, anyone know or help?
I want to get the original and not the jazzed up modern version they started using later on.
 
I have a copy. Not the greatest quality, but good enough. I pop it on before comps in the car on my way to the club :D

Happy to share the wealth. Will upload this weekend


Edit: can't remember which version I have.
 
Thanks Brendy, 2 days time its the anniversary of Seve's death, hope the beeb and the Euro tour recognize it in some fitting way
 
Have this as my ringtone for any contacts connected to the golf club....that way I automatically know it's an important call!!

The official answer is that it is available in iTunes (search "BBC Golf") or similar download sites for a small fee but you may be able to be more ....er "inventive".

thanks FW, is it the original iconic version and not the jazzed up one?

*edit* just found it on iTunes and its the newer faster version unfortunately, thanks anyway

What type of phone do you have? I have got the version, as being played in the Seve video. I can convert it into what ever type of file you need to put it onto your phone. Let us know and I will E-mail it to you.

No thanks, Arthur Montford commentating on Golf:confused: I watched a 30 mins STV golf highlight show one night, and 8 mins were watching a group tee off then walk to their second shots:eek:
Think they only had 1 camera for sport in these days
 
thanks to Madadey I now have the music in MP4 format- however its a video/movie when I put it on my iPhone so cant use as a ringtone- any other ideas fellas?
