I know this might be a long shot but here goes! I am travelling to Disney Orlando from the UK with my wife and 18 month old in April 2027, and am looking to get just one round of golf in whilst we are there. I would really love to find a way to pay Bay Hill, but obviously as we are staying in a Disney Resort, I am not able to easily book a round and so am looking to see if I could find a member that may be willing to entertain me for a morning!

Currently a 6.0 index (and hoping to get that even lower), so hoping I will be able to hold my own for a round at Bay Hill even with rental clubs.

As I said, appreciate this might be a long shot but thought it was worth a try! And if I don't have any luck with this, if anybody could suggest which Disney course they woud recommend playing that will be my back up option.

Ha!! Well, I didn't realise that! I'll leave this here, just in case, but might have to take my search elsewhere!
You need to be staying onsite to play Bay Hill.

Your 6 will be more like 10/12 on Bay Hill it’s a bit tough.

Disney Magnolia course is really Good but I favour the Palm course.
Both are wonderful golf courses.
You can hire clubs there if your only playing once.!

Tranquillo is a Disney course ( or was) last time I was there but not as good as the two mentioned.

If you can travel out of Disney I can recommend a few local courses Orange County National on US192 is a stunning place to play golf.

You could post on Golfwrx but you need to average 310 off the tee unfortunately.

Tranquillo, formerly Osprey Ridge, has not been a Disney course for years, coincided with the name change.

I would have to disagree with you, in my view it was the best of the Disney courses and benefited from not actually being on the theme park estate.

OCN does have two very fine courses but suffers from heavy use.

Yes been a while but it was in awful condition compared to others .
The layout was very good .

I have heard that the owners, Four Seasons, have turned things around. Don't know if it was a case of the previous regime effectively losing interest.

Meant to say that the other method of getting a game at Bay Hill is, of course, as a member's guest.

No problem, just need to find a member 🤔

Yes .
We went to the Bay Hill Invitational when on holiday to see the big boys play.
I must say it looked a tough place to play.

Thanks for your replies everyone, as I said, I knew it would be a long shot trying to find a member but we can dream!

If not, the Disney courses will be the one, so thanks for your help there too!

The 2 Disney crazy holf/putting courses are fun, well played out and long, or were tge last time we went:)

Expect some very very slow rounds on the Disney courses. If you’re able to drive I would highly recommend going to Southern Dunes. Everyone is extremely welcoming plus they hire out some good club choices that are the latest offerings (unlike Disney’s hired clubs that looked like they’d been around a course made of tarmac several times over)
