I'm playing my best golf with my baseball grip at the minute, especially off the tee..

Would I benefit from changing back to a interlocking grip?
Would this allow me to set the club better?

Any comments would be welcome

if its your best golf why do you want to change?

Google Tommy two gloves and see his grip- he won a tour event with it.

Doesn't matter how you hold the club, as long as you can get the club to impact the ball square and with consistancy that's all that matters.

Wouldn't worry about it.

I use baseball on my driver, Interlock for everything else apart from my putter which I use a vardon grip.

My driving is the best it's ever been since switching to baseball, feel so much more in control of the clubhead.

I have over the years used interlocking, baseball and Vardon and there are pros and cons to them all. The baseball grip means more 'hands on club' so it can improve control. However, an overlapping grip will allow a great 'snap' in the release and so give more distance. I finally settled on the Vardon, which seems to be the best all round option in my opinion.

Not sure if there's any other sport in which someone would say 'I'm playing really well, the best I've ever done, really enjoying it and getting some great results'. So should I change all that?;)

A lot of the golf industry operates on the principal that the grass is always greener so you need better clubs, a better swing, some new shoes, here watch this video as it will make you do this better etc etc. However if you are in the very privileged position of feeling you are playing well then enjoy it and don't change a thing. And if you really want a sensible informed answer then ask your pro as they will be the only ones that can tell you.

I'm left handed but play golf right handed, and using a interlocking grip or Vardon not only is uncomfortable for me, but I think it allows my left hand to dominate, meaning I leave the face open at impact.

I play baseball grip, and I hit my best drives when I try to loosen my left hand grip and really feel like I'm flicking my right hand through on the downswing.

It could be once I've had a lesson that my self-discovered fix is completely wrong, and could be affecting other parts of my game.. but for now it's working(ish)

Only ever used Baseball grip and suits me perfectly

I am cursed with small hands and find that the baseball grip is ideal. I did worry about the hands working separately but it's never been the case so far.

Can use overlap or interlock but much prefer baseball grip for all shots especially short game stuff. I lose all feel for the shot if the club is not in all my fingers.
