I'm due to play three rounds over the two courses at Barnham Broom next week, has anyone played/stayed there and if so do you have any tips on the course or where to go in the evenings for food/drink?
I've played there a few of times and if there's been a lot of rain you'd be better off on the Hill course rather than the Valley course. Having said that I played the Valley course in torrential rain and enjoyed it more than the Hill course on a sunny but windy day.
Norfolk Shaun is the man to be asking as I'm fairly sure he's a member there. If he doesn't see this thread then maybe drop him a PM and see what he has to say. There's not a lot close by in terms of going out. Taxi into the city centre would be my advice but not sure what that would cost you. The company I normally use are 1st Goldstar Taxis (01603 700700) but hopefully NS will have some more tips for you.
