Bargain to me.

I went out today to a well known shop and got myself 54 balls for £20 in a 3 for 2 deal (boxes) slazenger raw distance and black label. Not a top ball as you know but very good one for the price, Ive used them often. Also, as I looked for Footjoys and nearly bought a pair I noticed slazenger had some for 24 quid with a years guarantee, so I thought about it and decided that for just £24 if I only get a years golf out of them I wouldnt be heart broken at that price and they are as comfortable as anything and if they naff up before the years up I can shout at the shop and get some more. I must admit that I did fancy footjoy but as a qualified tight ar**, the footjoys can wait.

I also got the slaz black labels for the gfs christmas presents she loves them hard to turn down at that price

I have been using my Slazengers for over two years and they are still sound except I am missing three spikes where the threads are stripped.

Spikes or plastics?

If its the plastic ones I will keep an eye on that.

Thanks TWM I had a pair do exactly that about 8 yrs ago, buggered a perfectly good set of shoes too!
