Bargain golf in your area?

I've never been a member of a club as I've never really been able to afford it. A course near me has a deal which used to be tee-off after 2pm (7 days a week) 2 people, a buggy and a drink at the bar each for £15 per person. The course isn't particularly well kept but recently it's been improving- which is especially surprising given the recent drought.

Unfortunately they've changed the times in the last month so you have to tee off after 4pm

I've always thought this was pretty good. Can anyone else beat it?

Not quite as good as that but we have a course near us that is usually £40-45 for 18 holes, however if you go out after 3pm its £10 on a weekday and £12 on a weekend, and the course is in great condition too.

The course closest to me has a "Super-Twilight" deal on at the moment. A round usually costs £26, but after 7pm it crashes to £7.50. Not ideal if there's more than two of you due to the time/light constraints, but it's a very good deal if you just want a quick round after work.

the course closest to me is £9 after 6pm, easily get 18 holes in if it’s a clear run. Excellent condition for a municipal course.

The19thHole, i think you're onto a winner there! The club i mentioned in the first place also has a cheap monday which i think is £10 to tee off at any time

Millfield near me charges £10 for 18 holes, £6 after 1pm and £4 after 5pm on the main course. not the best kept in the region but i doubt if can be beaten for that price.
also has another 18 holer which i think is £6, plus a rather scraggy 9 hole for £2 all day long - ideal for practise and the grandkids.

We have a twilight rate 7 days a week. £12.50 after 2pm (half price) and £9.99 after 5pm. Very good rates IMHO. Not as good as some of the ones on here though!

Local groupon deal near me had a round at KP club (Kilnwick Percy) at £18 for a 2 ball, any day and time valid until December. Not bad, haven`t played it in a while but it recently held a round of the Trilby tour.

A certain course near me is offering a "Special" 4 ball rate of £320 per round after 2pm. A saving of £300 of the normal price.

I've been playing a lot recently at Lindfield Golf Club in Sussex.
Nice 18 holer, a few of the holes are a bit "samey" in the middle but not enough to get bored.
Some really testing par 3's and some nice, shorter par 4's to give you a few birdie chances.
Green fee on a Sunday? £10.00!!
Really great value for money and I can see me playing there a lot more over the Summer despite the fact that it's nearly an hour away from me.
