Bank Holiday Monday, My Gaff near Bristol

Planning to play on Monday at my place for the 1st time in months, anyone fancy it? It's Thornbury Golf Club (www.thornburygc.co.uk) which is about 10 minutes drive from Bristol.

No tee time booked yet, but I suspect mid-morning would be ideal.

No winter greens or tees to contend with and the weather forecast is looking favourable currently (i.e. dry!).

Should cost around £20 for 18 holes.

It would only take about 8 hours to get there by train and cost about £150 return.

I don't know, I have only played the par 3 at your place, from what I saw of the main course, it's looks very open compared to Filton.

I'd love to join you at Thornbury, or Filton with Phil (tongue twister!), but not on Monday as I'm currently suffering with undiagnosed abdominal pains so don't expect to be fit to play on Monday.

So maybe another date in the near future, although I'd need some assurances that you wouldn't laugh at the new player!
