Balls - Pearl / Grade A ebay jobs

Not sure the problem is with the balls if you get a good batch but rather there are so many fakes and other assorted crap about that it is a real gamble unless you are familiar with the Seller.

I personally don't like lake/second hand balls of any kind, but a lot of people rate them as as good as brand new. Might be worth a try.

I've bought quite a few AD333's from this seller: premierlakeballs & had no trouble at all. The balls have been exactly as described & play as new.

40 for just over £20. Bargain.

Thought we covered this a few weeks ago. For my money you don't know the quality of these second hand balls and they quite simply will not all play the same. For the few quid you are saving you are better off getting a sleeve of decent mid range balls from your local pro

Go to your user preferences and you can sort the threads so the last one that was replied to tops the list! This way it keeps the alive topics at the top of the list, and the dead ones fall away!

I've bought me balls from sellers on ebay and I defy anyone to tell me they behave differently. As far as I'm concerned they are the equivalent of the new ball-hit-lost-found-sold and are a bargain and definitely more than a few quid saved.

Unless you've got pros who sell NXT Tours at just over 45p a ball that is...

I think I have mentioned before, I sometimes through the winter buy A grade Pro v's, a dozen for 17,99. They all have the markings of a ball hit maybe once and definately do not look water damaged or swollen (I doubt they would swell much anyway due to the not-to-porous cover)
Scoring nor distance have ever been affected.

I was once told that it depends on whether the lake balls have been refinished or not, as this is done cheaply to a poor quality and as a result the outter feel of these balls seems harder and less responsive. If they have not been refinsiehd I agree that their should be little/no difference between a brand new one and a pearl grade second hander.

But this is going on what I was told (and it makes sense to be honest), and I am prepared to be corrected.

I find the refinished Pro V1's rock hard, I even got one the shape of an egg. I bought ones from TGgolf on Ebay and they where great - just some pen marks the odd one had a scuff and these where practice balls. I could not tell the differance between a New Srixon or ebay one. Well worth the money if you looses a few.
