Ballochmyle golf club - mauchline

Anyone played this course? Looking at booking our next work outing there through the open fairways scheme and wondered what it was like. http://www.ballochmylegolfclub.com

Not played there, but it looks like an ideal place for a works outing and seems reasonably priced as well.

I hear it can be wet at times however at this time of year it should be ok. Where do normally play?

Where do normally play?

Dont have a home club as such. Have played Ravenspark in Irvine most often though. Work games to date have been Lochwinnoch, rowallan, dundonald and bishopbriggs.

ballochmyle looks to have a few short 4s. Maybe not a bad thing for me

out of 4 seasons of outings Ballochmyle was the best overall. we played it in a September bit wet underfoot but nothing to worry about. the food is brilliant the best weve had. try the local icecream

Ballochmyle is great for an outing, played it many times. It can get a bit soggy if wet though.

It's also worth looking at Loudoun Gowf Club for an outing. I rate the course higher than Ballochmyle.
