I played at a course where the greens had recently been hollow tined and they were still a bit uneven. A local rule was in place to allow placing the ball on the green away from any indentation so all good.
However, whilst in the process of making a putt the ball moved. I can't swear if it was at the top of the backward movement of the putter or when it was moving forward but it definately moved. As usual in these things I couldn't stop and completed the stroke.
I called it to my opponents but we weren't sure if it constituted an accidental movement and as a result if I had played from the wrong place.
I felt that as the stroke had started there was no penalty but to be honest I'm not sure.
Missed the putt anyway :mmm:
