That was awesome. Harrington's great fun, and does some pretty crazy stuff at the range. You ever seen him do the Happy Gilmore? He's amazing at it.

Idiot IMO.

I think the ball collector should have done what one of my staff did once.

Drive right up to the front of the bay and shout 'can you hit it from here you f%^$£^g brainless a%*()*&e'.

He came into my office to complain and I banned him from the range.

who did you ban, driver or range customer?

The customer of course, he thought it was fair game to endanger the life of one of my staff.

if his life really is in danger then why is he allowed to go out while the range is live? Does he not have protection? Did you ban the accidental hits from customers as the result is the same?

Waiting for the buggy to come near and hitting full blooded drives at it.....yes.
Customer ignoring warning signs.

I take that those who think it is 'fun' to aim for the buggy have never driven a ball collector on a range.
Harrington's behaviour was very poor, I'm surprised the Tour did not take action. Or maybees the have, they do tend to keep these things quiet.

The advert was from the tour - seems you have clearly missed the humour in the advert

Pro golfer behaves like yob.

I sure did

Behave yourself

People have been hitting ball collectors for decades - either accidentally or having a giggle aiming at them

They are fully protected all round so no one is in danger

It was an advert from the European Tour to show a bit of humour from golfers

It appears you have missed the point by a country mile

It was obviously a set up with cameras at the different angles, etc. I'm sure the driver was also in on it, doubt he was in any danger

What on earth are you on about.

This video is all a setup anyway.

This is standard operating procedure at the belfry. Even the staff fire at the ball collector. They're in a blumin metal cage so whats the problem? Its great fun

A European Tour video so pretty certain the ball collector was aware of what's occurring. Very good and good to see Porridge having a laugh. He's a top bloke. He's another who I hope finds a semblance of consistency and form again soon
