I am lucky enough to be heading on holidays on in August on a cruise. Have any of you ever experienced or played any golf in St.Maarten, St.Thomas or Nassau? From the research I have done I think Nassau is my best bet. The issue being the only course I found you have to be a resident at the hotel to play. I don't want my wallet shook out either Can anyone advise or point me in the right direction?

A friend of mine played in Nassau a couple of years ago but he was using the hotel so the golf was included in the price for him. I think most hotels only let hotel guests play and those that don't often charge crazy amounts. Sorry this doesn't help much!

To play the Ocean course in the Bahamas, I believe you have to be staying in one of the Paradise Island hotels. I was able to get on Cable Beach as well which was open to the public at the time, don't know if that is still the case.

Alternatively, give Sean Connery a ring and ask him to sign you on to Lyford Cay
