My new Ogio bag turned up last night.

Lovely bag 'n' all that but it comes with the
Weirdest Divider System I have ever seen and, to be honest, I'm struggling to arrange my clubs.

How do you arrange the clubs in your bag???

Does it matter? Does carrying or using a trolley affect the arrangement?

Just curiuos on opinions.

my old TM Stratos had one of the nicest 7 way deviders systems.

1 - Putter only
2 - driver + 3w / 5w & hybrid
2 - 5i 6i / 7i 8i
2 - 9i pw / 52* 58*
configeration

The new micro lite TM bag although its everything you could want in a bag the devider system is getting on my tits. It only 4 way so currently

1 - Driver/3w/5w/4h/putter
2 - 5i 6i / 7i 8i
1 = 9i pW 52* 58*

I so wish they had mad this bag with a 7 way devider.

My set up is:

Putter front centre (umbrella goes in external putter compartment)
3 wood front left
Driver front right

Then clubs just go in descending order from there with 56* Vokey and the club that dare not speak it's name left and right on the back row with the back centre empty.

Thanks for the replies.

I think I'm going to have another play when i get in tonight just to see if I can make it more pleasing to my eye.

If I remember the Ogio bags are set up to have the woods down one side then the other clubs split amongst the other dividers

GB that's how I have mine set up now.

Looking at the link (in the OP) I have my woods down the left hand side (Starting with the driver in centre top, then 3, 5 woods and #3 hybrid down the left).

The irons are in decending order ( From long to short, in groups of 3) next to it. Putter is in the bottom left slot.

Doesn't matter how i arrange them at the outset, the clubs always end up in one or two of the dividers by the end of the round. ;)

I've got a callaway xxt warbird with seven slots.

Driver. 3w & hybrid
5i&6i. 7i&8i
9i&pw. Sw&lw
Putter

The 64 wedge maybe going in soon with the sw/lw slot. I just find this the easiest way to find the clubs as I need them.

Just got my new trolley and cart bag today.

What I don't understnad is it's got 14 dividers and a putter well on the side? Why 15......? V-Easy perhaps!

It does for me. I have 1/3/5/3h across the back when carrying.
On a trolley I move some around for easier access.

b.t.w. I like the diamond arrangement on OGIO, looks different and works well.

I leave one space spare and the putter goes there if it's lashing with rain :D

I don't think it really matters apart from one thing:

Have the longer clubs at the top and the shorter ones below so that the heads of the shorter clubs don't damage the shafts of the longer ones.

I'm so pleased that someone else has had the courage to bring this subject out of the closet. I was beginning to think that I was the only golfer who sits up at nights agonising over which slots my clubs should go in. Anyway, I've tried 4-2-4, 4-3-3, Christmas Tree, you name it but I always end up going back to 4-4-2 on the basis that if it's good enough to win the treble it's good enough for my bag.
(Are you guys for real?)

Post of the week. Very clever. :)
