In the last year I've had Mizuno Aerolite and Callaway Euro Chev stand bags, both of which have had to go back due to faults. So I'm looking for a new bag (again)!

I'll be mainly using it with a trolley but want the ability to carry if necessary in the event of trolley bans. So, any recommendations? Not looking to spend big money so if anyone's seen a deal recently........

I have a carry bag and a trolley bag as I find the trolley/carry hybrid dont cut it. Titleist sx6 for carrying, had it a few years and its still going strong. Comfortable and light enough. Trolley is callaway something or other, this does need replacing as the lining comes out when you pull a club. I am hoping santa brings me the Razr tour bag..:)

I recently bought the Adidas Samba Carry bag and cant fault it. Lots of room for everything, lightweight and you can get a free umbrella with some deals for £79. Also it fits my qwikfold trolley perfectly which was an added bonus.

This months mag has a feature on stand bags and most noticeable that more designs are now suitable for trolley use too.
I would suggest you get a PVC type material rather than the light weight canvas for all year round use. Personally I have a TM TMX and can't fault it.

Sun Mountain. Bag specialists. I've had a Four5 model for over two years now and never had a problem with any part of it. The legs are still solid and fold up perfectly, and all zips/pockets are still in fantastic condition.

Sure someone posted the other day about Sports Direct doing their Dunlop NZ9 stand bag for £35.. I've had a look at it in our local store and it looks a decent bag for the money. And if it falls apart, you've not lost much money.. they have an Ogio bag online too for £40.

Of course, if you're a brand snob and don't want to be seen carrying a Dunlop bag, this won't be of interest..

Might have to look into the Dunlop option, sounds a good buy. Slight complication is whether I'll get money back from AG on the Callaway or if they'll insist on a replacement. Fingers crossed I can get my money back and shop around!

Really interested in this bag, looks really nice.
Are the qwikfold trolley bases similar to that of a motocaddy/clicgear do you know?
Don't want to buy both a cart bag and a stand bag, might as well kill 2 birds with one stone.

I'm currently looking for a stand bag, that will also go on my Motocaddy, as my cart bag is a squeeze to get in my locker, and I'd like a stand for when I am practising.

Any suggestions welcome.

TIA.

I have a Sun Mountain Three5 which I found for half price. Haven't used it for carrying as yet but it fits well on my Stewart Z3. HimID got the Mizuno Aerolite 5 bag. Again fits on the Z3. I would say that the price of the stand bags seems to vary wildly from day to day.

Glad this popped up as I have been thinking along the same lines as the op. after getting new bats I'm on the look out for a new stand bag for the winter and will just get a new trolley bag in the spring when the trolley comes back out again.

I have this years Tiltleist Ultra lightweight offering.

Excellent all round bag, loads of pockets and space and great features.

When I'm back home from sunning myself in Crete I'll do a review :D

The Adidas bag doesnt fit well on the motocaddy due to the leg mechanism being too wide but fits the qwikfold perfectly, Havent tried on anything else but the qwikfold was slightly larger when folded compared to the clicgear but is well made has all the extras like a brolly holder with it and at less than half price. One of the members where i played on saturday commented on how well built it looked.
