Just been cleaning the club's after a very wet Eastham Lodge yesterday. I decided give the bag a scrub, was looking through the balls and realised I had an awful lot, 29 in total! No idea where they all come from, and subconsciously, how bad of a round was I expecting to have? :fore:

I pick up every ball I find, but have never had that many in the bag

.... I usually hit all the crap ones onto the range, give away the decent ones that I don't use, and keep the best for winter use.

I'm pretty well known for losing balls and bein crap at finding them so currently I have 20 sleeves of various balls and about 300 decent balls in a bag and another 25+ in my bag at the beginning of any round!

I took 37 out of my bag the other day. Only 15 were actually ones I'd normally play. Rest were pickups. Cleaned them up and fired them into a bucket. I keep a stash of found balls I wouldn't play and give them to my dad or a few friends who don't care what they have as long as it is round.

Jesus! I have a thing about starting a round with 1dz balls in my bag, never ran out thankfully. Close run thing one day when I started with only 6, amazing how it concentrates the mind when you tee off on the 16th with your last ball :)

In swapped all my kit over from my old titleist bag to my new sun mountain bag and found £50 in my titleist bag i didn't know i had :D

Most of the time you feel your on your own out there, 1000 have gone before and 1000 after, all with the same troubles. HAPPY NEW YEAR Y'ALL XXX

I think a lot of us carry far too many spare balls in our bags.
To be honest, if I need more than a dozen balls in a single round, I should walk in when i run out!

About a dozen for me. Usually give pickups to my dad or leave them on a tee box if he doesn't want them.

Just checked my bag, 23!

Half of them I'd never hit so bag now quite a bit lighter.

(And probably had about 1,000 tees, I can't help but pick them up as I play, must be my corvid instincts coming through)

I've recently de-cluttered my bag to remove a lot of the weight (carry bag) and I've made the bold decision to only carry 3 sleeves of balls on any 1 round! I was going to go to 2 sleeves but felt I might come a cropper! I've always carried 12-16 to be safe but touch wood I'm only losing 1 or 2 a round these days!!

in the carry bag, 6 golf balls some winter tees a ball marker and pitch repairer along with my wallet and car keys

during the summer in the trolley bag a dozen balls 1jt bottle of squash sunglasses, waterproofs
