is it me or is the majority of golf gear of poor quality.
i had a pair of adipures, they leaked.
nike trousers that fell apart
nike golf bag, carrying handle snapped
mizuno water proof, zips broken
and now a golf brolly that wont stay locked open.

when i walk into direct golf the sales staff hide........is it just me?

Stop buying your stuff from www.ourstuffnothooky.com then!

Not personally familiar with them brands, but generally you get what you pay for? I've not really had much problem with my stuff so am inclined to think towards your second choice!

Maybe its just the stuff destined for the UK market. Case in point, shoes: 1yr waterproof warranty over here v 2yr waterproof warranty in North America on the exact same shoe i.e. AdiPures, Footjoy Dryjoy Tours to name just a couple.

The insert in my persimmon driver came away in 1975, and the whipping came loose a couple of years later, but apart from that no real problems.;)

Never had a problem with Adidas shoes, but Nike golf bags are utter pish.
I've had 2,and both fell apart with light use.Zips that gave up the ghost after a couple of rounds, and support bars that broke through the base after 3 months light use.
Why i ever bought the 2nd Nike bag after the problems with the first i'll never know.
