Bad day

Spent £2.95 on a bucket of balls at the range this morning, should've saved my money, hitting it poorly and hooking everything. :(

Followed that up with a visit to the dentist where I went in with some gum inflammation and toothache expecting a quick filling but then spent over an hour in the chair getting a broken molar extracted. Kept breaking into pieces so the dentist had to cut the gum with a scalpel then drill out some of the jawbone round the roots of the tooth to get them out. Am suffering now the anaesthetic has worn off. :(
Have you ever tried tensing muscles up in fear for over an hour, that's the most exercise I've had in weeks!
For my trouble it cost over £100 :(

To top it all off the delivery of my new La-Z Boy recliner armchair was delayed until tomorrow cos the delivery man couldn't be arsed making a phone call!

Crap day and I don't have Sky Sports anymore to watch the matchplay :(

Sympathy please....

Think yourself lucky, your range charges 5p less for 50 balls than mine. Surely that makes up for all the dental/TV/Chair-related misery ?

Never go to the range its BAD for you - last time I spent £7 to shank 120 balls. Now that is really worse than a sore mouf and dalking dunny all day. :p :p

you should have gone to the boozer, had £100 worth of hard liquor, before picking a fight with the biggest bloke in town - you;d have had your tooth knocked out and the numbness would have lasted a day or two!

The 5p saving has really cheered me up!

First I lost my hair, now I'm losing my teeth - what the hell will it be next? :D

You have a La-Z boy! I would love to have one of those, HID has firmly put her foot down.

Oh yes, does sound like a crap day, feet up cup of soup and watch the golf.

Just googled that chair. £1000 for a chair? Geez. Even if it has a beer fridge built in. May be when I get my extension built with the home cinema, but I doubt it even then. For that price, do they top up the beer fridge whenever it runs low?

La-Z Boy is a brand, there are dozens of models, mine cost less than £500. Couldn't spend £1k on a chair.
Alas mine doesn't have a fridge in it!
