Got up, putting coal into scuttle to sit in front of me lovely coal fire and bang, me back went.
Cant even put me socks on.
If I could laugh about it, am off to doctors at 11.00 re me shoulder and ankle.

edit mods can you put this in oob section cheers.

Not happy at all, sat on shiatsu massage chair for last 30 mins sulking.

been to Drs with this morning with me left shoulder, to have an X-ray an ultra sound on that. Also physio.

Me ankle is OK touch wood no treatment.

Me knee has been banging since I first carried on Tuesday.

me low libido, he has given me 4x viagra so that's me sorted til next sept.

looking forward to the appointment with Dr Alochol tonight.
 
Anti inflammatory and painkillers to start with - get yourself to a chiro as well

Started on the ibuprofen and paracetamol as soon as, as with most miners and nurses. Bad backs is part and parcel of occupational hazard, as is hearing loss ( mainly rhs ) to soldiers.
gutted coz when I was at work, me Julie a physio from Yorkshire was excellent at sorting out me back.
Now I have to see Arthur from the NHS, oh well.
 
Sounds like you've got more injuries than justone and fundy combined, and they are made of glass.

Ouchy. I have had sciatic nerve issues a few times and know the pain that brings so hope it gets well soon. At least Dr Alcohol will leave a calling card in the head tomorrow which should take the mind of the pain in the back

Tashy, look up a book called the Permanent Pain Cure, by Ming Chew, it's worth a read and may help. I'm giving it a go to see if it will make me more flexible.

Slab I cannot begin to tell you how narked I was when it went thinking about me hols, it is slowly slowly easing pain wise but I am still as stiff as a brush.
I have cancelled today's and Thursday's golf and I cannot remember the last time I ever cancelled a round. When I first stand up I make Quasimodo look tall.

I had a look on a couple of sites last night re where to sight see whilst driving. my initial reaction was two weeks ain't long enough.

Missis T had me in bits last night when I mentioned sun creams. She said its winter, I said not on the other side of the world near the equator it's not.

Slab if you want anything bringing over HP sauce, chocolate or owt don't be shy to ask, it won't be a problem.
