i play off a 17 handicap, the last time i played was the day after new years and shot 84 ( one of those rare days) been up the range a few times since and have tured into a complete t**t, havent got a clue with my grip, stance, swing, everything ,its like all knowledge i had of how to swing a golf club has been wiped from my memory, so its back to golf lessons starting monday, very annoying that i seem to get to a decent level, get confident playing then the golf gods decide to take the piss and return me to this pathetic excuse for a golfer, god i hate this game :D

i get like that some days mate just a bad round chin up it will come back dont worry about.were abouts do you play.
nice to see someone from just up the road i live stratford

Been out three times this year - dead consistant 96 every time- off 16 with par 69, you are not alone, its only because I'm deluded that I keep coming back for more ...because I'm much better than that ...really.......really, really....

live in coventry 10 mins from the forest of arden play on the aylesford course or stonebridge, used to play over at stratford oaks quite a bit cracking little course, cheers everyone feel better now, not the first time its happened and it wont be the last

I wouldn't worry too much. I think it is always good to get a swing MOT from time to time and once you get the basics together again I'm sure the rest will follow. The short game and putting are usually the first to go with me and so I'd try and work on touch too

thanks,i dont let it bother me too much was prob due a brush up lesson anyway, and its never as bad on the course as it is when it goes wrong up the range
