Back Playing Again

After what was pretty much an 8 month break I am finally back playing again. The attitude of some people at my old club was slowly taking all of the fun out of golf for me and I resigned my membership in November last year.

Since then I have found other things to occupy my weekends with but the time now seemed right to get back out there.

Signed up at Belton Woods yesterday and will get my first round in the roll up next Saturday. I know, its a resort course with all of the possible issues that it entails but the people up there are more relaxed and friendly and there are tee times reserved every weekend for the roll up and the competitions.

Looking forward to the challenge of playing 2 new courses. I guess I am also not one of those people who will be a member for life, I need to change course every now and again to keep my interest levels up.

Better get the clubs cleaned this week in readiness.

No, that's Belton Park and I understand the deer are very cliquey.
