Hi,
I used to play a lot of golf when i was younger and stopped playing when i was 21, when i was playing of 8.
I've just started back playing again (10 years later) and i've played a few rounds and been to the driving range 5-6 times.
I am really surprised at how much distance i have lost, especially considering i am a lot fitter and stronger now, compared to what i was 10 years ago. I've been going to the gym 5 days a week for the last 5+ years and do quite a lot of core and leg work, and i thought this would stand to me when i started back playing but it hasn't at all :mmm: :mmm: :mmm:
I'm also sure my new driver is longer off the tee, compared to the driver i was using 10 years ago.
Has anyone ever experienced this before. Maybe i am swinging very poorly, and should start with a few lessons
Really enjoying being back and i know accuracy is far more important than distance, but very surprised over my distance
