shot level par back 9 at the weekend, 7 pars, 1 birdie and 1 bogey... 8 GIR's, a 3 putt cost me for the bogey.

felt like a proper golfer !

I sound cynical but how did you score on the front?

Great golf though... Its something you should remember next time you start out badly... You can always get back without dropping shots ;-)

9 over on the front, 2 pars, 2 doubles 5 bogeys with just 3 GIR's. So an 81 joint PB for 18, never broken 80 sadly.

Yep ive got to agree... I am definitely improving as a golfer and can string a good few pars together and try to remember that when things haven't gone great... I managed to buffer last time because of that thought.

Did the same this Saturday in the fiddle off the yellows, 8 over after 8 then level par in (one bogie, one birdie) for a 79 and first time breaking 80 on the proper course.

Sunday in the comp - no return and 0.1 back.

Think I must play better with 5 hours sleep and a hangover!
