My home club requires me to contact them to let them know my scores at my away club's medals. They need to know the CSS and my gross score.

I'll ring them tomorrow, but what happens if you N/R or score a 15 on a hole or something?

Your SGU card should be used everywhere to enter Opens etc, it should then update centrally.

You tell the club you had a 15!

I think you just calculate the stableford as normal but they take the CSS into account. So if you scored 36 points your handicap would go down 2 increments if CSS is 2 shots over

These days there should be an automatic report back to your Home Club via your CDH. It is, however still your responsibility to make sure that it is reported. CONGU spells out your responsibility as follows:

8.10. Report to his Home Club as soon as practicable all Qualifying Scores (including ‘No Returns’ and Disqualified Scores – see Appendix P) returned away from his Home Club advising the Home Club of the date of the Qualifying Competition, the venue, Standard Scratch Score and the Competition Scratch Score together with the following:
(a) After a Stroke Play Qualifying Competition, the gross score returned and any Stableford/Nett Double Bogey Adjustment applicable. See Clause19.1. And the example referenced 19.1/1. The Home Club may require a copy of the scorecard to be returned to support the adjustment.

How do you calculate it when CSS goes 2 over SSS?

I think you just calculate the stableford as normal but they take the CSS into account. So if you scored 36 points your handicap would go down 2 increments if CSS is 2 shots over

The points are calculated the same it's the buffer which moves so if SSS=Par then 36pts is target but with CSS +2 then 34 is par and buffer zones from there.

We're asked to enter our away scores in the AWAY book provided in the locker room.
Stating the course and the date played , your gross score , net score , H/C used , away CSS , SSS , par. Phew!.
