This is probably a silly question...but is there a particular "done" way of attaching your towel to your bag? :o

My bag (TM R1) has a towel ring but when I attach the carabiner from the towel to it, it's so low that the towel nearly drags the floor!

So, how do you attach yours?! :D

EDIT - I realise that this is the least of my worries as a beginner golfer - but I'm going to a "proper" golf club on the weekend and don't want to set off any more alarms that scream "newbie alert" than I already will with my playing!

Get a smaller towel ;)

I have the same problem with a srixon towel I have. I just throw it over my bag or pass it through the carry handle to tuck it out of the way.

There is not right or wrong way just anyway that keeps it away from wheels.

1. smaller towel
2. tall caddy

your choice

not sure about staples, probably better to cut the towel into more appropriate pieces than go that route for my money.

You need to be fitted for your towel

This is the correct answer......I cannot stress enough the importance of being properly fitted for every bit of your equipment. People always forget about tee, glove, towel, trolley and umbrella fittings

Alternatively, just drape your towel over your clubs if you want to look good ;)

ps.....never EVER carry your bag so that your clubs are pointing directly upwards, complete rookie mistake

Club Glove make some 'Caddie Towels' that have a slot in the middle, so you hang them over a club. Cost about a tenner on some web sites. Can be carried onto a green to wipe the ball rather than having to trek back and forth. I still managed to lose one though!

Remember to dampen about 50% before you go out. Makes cleaning things much easier but can dampen clothes etc if carrying!
