It's been a long time coming!

Got to 14.9 way back in 2012 after 2 rounds that were each only 1 under par, but several under CSS which ended up triggering an ESR.
I was well chuffed but found that I couldn't play even close to that so the 0.1s crept on, and by yesterday I was 16.7

Decided 18 months ago that the only way to improve was to start from scratch again to try and get rid of the ingrained bad habits that were preventing me from improving.

It's been a hard road, two steps forward, one step (sometimes 3!) back, but I'm definitely striking the ball better now- It was just case of stringing a decent round together.

I know it's only one round but at least the hcp is finally moving in the right direction to 15.8, playing 16.

I want to get back to playing off 15 by the end of the season!

Great that perseverance is paying off, that's a long dry spell! Hope the next one isn't far off!

:one:

It's been a long dry spell because i was essentially starting to learn how to hit a ball all over again!
Then of course the old bad swing and the new good swing fight, and I end up with a hybrid completely useless swing!

Just got to learn how to putt now!

Yes, one step back to take two forward... damned frustrating game. Sounds like you've come through it now though!
