At last!

Having taken up golf in 2011 at the age of 64 on retiring from sailing I thought I was never going to get my handicap off 28, despite constant jibes of 'bandit'.

On Tuesday I received a letter from my club informing me that my handicap has been reduced in the annual review of handicaps to 27!

Today I go out and score 39 points off 3/4 handicap. More mutterings!

Onward and downward...I hope :whoo:.

Great effort, congratulations! It's much harder to start this game when you are, shall we say, of mature years, but no reason you can't improve and get that handicap plummeting.
