I've been having a decent season so far, with a few cuts here and there, although I've also had a couple of horror shows. It was Club Championship qualifying yesterday and today and so I thought I might be in with a shout of qualifying for the knockout if I could limit the horrors.
Well, I was soon put back in my box after playing like a chump yesterday, shooting 88 to get 0.1 back. So I went out today trying to be a bit more positive and hoping that I could at least make the buffer.
Ended up shooting 76 gross, which not only got me in to the knockout but got me in to the section above (our CC's are divided into sections according to h/c. I started off in the C section (10-14) but qualified for the B section).
And, more importantly, I got cut to 9.0.
First time in single figures and my goal achieved for the season. Well chuffed :whoo:
