Some weather at The Open on a par with what us club golfers have to deal with from time to time and a light wind to boot.
I have played in far worse this year most notely a week past Saturday when it hoyed it down and was blowing hard all day in a scratch open at Goswick but still 74 (plus2) won and I mangaged a 76 so get on with it guys you have sun on your back and light winds far to often!!

Oh aye and whats with the woolie hats and gloves??!!It's bloody July!!

Wow only £414 membership per year and its an Open qualifier!

The club I'm looking to join is £990 per annum and £990 joining fee!!!!

If only it wasn't soooo far away! Looks like a tough challenge mind - quite a long bat and thats without the galeforce links winds!

Im over your neck of the woods next week dodger. Will definately be playing your superb course again while over, played last year and loved it, so if you available sometime during the week maybe we could meet up for a game. There will be 2 or 3 of us. Also plan to play The Hirsel and maybe Duns or have you any other suggestions in that area.

I was at the Hirsel last week and would avoid it it was i bad nick,it had been shut for 2 days waterlogged basically,Duns I would go to dont know if you have played it but each time I go back it improves each time and is maturing into a nice track.Eyemouth also is a nice course provided the weather is ok for you,it is right on the coast not really linksy more just a cliff top course with unbelievable views out to sea and one of the best par 3's you will ever play 180yrds accross a gully with the North Sea crashing beneath you!
I would be available only Monday Tuesday and Thurs nights from 5 but drop me a pm if you wish and I could play with you at those time and get you on for £8.
