Thought would post a few little review notes

Had a club day out there today and have been looking forward to it

As you drive in through the estate to the club you get a little feel of the area and the ground everywhere is covered in bright bluebells

The clubhouse is a new modern building but still has a nice traditional feel about it with pics of Bob Hope amongst others adorning the walls.

The welcome is pleasant with lovely bacon rolls and the Pro shop has a decent amount of stock but again all pleasant

Onto the course - the layout isn't too tricky , nice wide fairways on most of the holes with not too much trouble , it is in very good nick at the moment but the crowing glory of the course is the greens - very big beautifully running greens with lots of hidden breaks and some very very tricky pins available - the course isn't tough but the greens are - you need to know where to place your ball.

Walking round the course is a dream - nice and peaceful walk with some lovely views. The course has it's own herd of Deer that roam around the place and are a wonderful sight , foxes , buzzards , kites commonly seen.

The food is very nice , decent price drinks

Overall it is a very nice course and golf club

It's not tough or tight and I reckon I could get my handicap down quickly on there ( shot a level par gross today ) once used to the green

I think it's somewhere to play on the odd occasion but not sure about joining there.

Nice course, always seems to be in excellent condition, like you not sure Id really want to be a member there (partly due to the aging membership and approach), cracking carvery lunch if memory serves me rightly :)

I did speak to the lady about membership and an old lady looked down her nose at me

But when she left the admin lady apologised for her but I was told there isn't many members between the ages of 30 -50

£1500 joining fee and £1500 yearly subs

Below 30 I think it's £750 joining fee

Above 40 it's £3000 joining fee £1500 subs

Don't think it's worth £3000 joining fee
